The cup always precedes the crown. Anytime you go through a struggle(the cup represents trials, struggles, adversities in life)Anytime you go through this you might as well know and realize, that always-He promises, if we endure the cup a crown awaits us. We must endure to the end!
God uses adversity to develop us...God is more interested in developing our character, than he is in solving our problems.
There will be times when you go through things and you don't understand what God is doing. But remember the cup is always preparation for the crown.
Matt. 26:36-42
If Jesus ,our example, drank from the cup before the crown, we must realize that we also must drink from the cup.
The cup is setting us up for our crown!
